Our History
Serving Forest Hills since 1971.
Our Story
The Forest Hills Volunteer Ambulance Corps was founded in 1971 by neighbors who believed their community deserved fast, compassionate emergency medical care — provided free of charge, by volunteers.
[Tell the founding story here: who started it, why, and what those early days looked like — the first ambulance, the first members, where the corps operated from.]
[Describe how FHVAC grew over the decades: more rigs, more members, new equipment and training, and the thousands of calls answered for the people of Forest Hills and Queens.]
